FOUNDATION FOR POVERTY ALLEVIATION

Women Empowerment

The empowerment and autonomy of women and the improvement of their political, social, economic and including health status is essential for the achievement of sustainable development. Equal participation and partnership of both women and men is required towards balanced family life and community development. In all parts of the world, women are facing threats to their lives, health, and education because of their lack of power and influence. It has been noted that, women receive less formal education than men, and at the same time, women’s own knowledge, abilities and coping mechanisms often go unrecognized by their community or vanished with time. In Less developed community’s girl children are forced for early marriage with paying the cost of her education. Less educated single women are often subject to sexual violence by the relatives or colleague.

  1. Economic empowerment of women through livelihood opportunities
  2. Self help Group formation and training them to grab locally available opportunity of self-employment
  3. Women leadership development to bring out the various issues faced by women
  4. Helping women in containing domestic violence
  5. Helping women to achieve highest level of health
  6. Encouraging girl child to get education
